Projections of the Party on Some Political Issues

It is almost imposible to foretell the way the Castro Regime is going to end. We consider the stand to be taken by the dictator and his gang will be decisive at that time and they will be the ones responsible for a non pacific way out to democracy in Cuba.

We raise our voices to tell the army and the castro regime no to engage in crimes against their own people, not to fire their arms. It would be better to surrender than getting their hands dirty with the blood of the Cuban People, whose only crime has been to claim their freedom and their right to choose their future. Our Civil Social Society will be tolerant with political errors, but not with crimes commited against the people. Our party has a clear understanding of what are the steps to be followed and the things to be done, and there will be no room whatsoever to reforms or transitions of power among communists inside the regime. The History of the world and also our own has shown the comunist, socialist or fidelist sistem does not work at all.

Cuba needs deep transformations in potical, economical and social aspects, starting with the elimination of the existing regime, founding a provisional government that could work based on the 1940's Constitution and which should count with the support of all parties and organizations as well as that of the People, since the society will have the difficult task of maintaining the social order in times needed to create the most important tools for the future such as: A new constitution according to the present day which could include main issues from the 1940 constitution.Laws that could allow the judicial power to work. , The electoral laws by which the congress can act. When these and other needed tools are ready, the pillars of the state of law would be fullfilled and democratic elections could be held in Cuba then. We believe that a government of transit could last 18 months or whatever necessary; patience will be requested to be of character to those democratic and of good faith men and women will keep social stability for this jump to democracy and liberty.

The State, represented by the three powers: executive, legislative and judicial, this last one must be independent of any other power, should have the characteristics of being efficient, just and fast. History itself has manifested which is the most decent and ethical way to govern. PRC is a firm defender of the stablshment of such a government in Havana. We believe the Constitution to be the best government. We favor the presidential form of government. P.R.C. proposes a constitutional army according to the geografical position and such one must be of great professionalism, have modern technology and great combat readyness, the same will be required for the Armed Forces and the Navy, so we are able to defened ourselves and our national territory from terrorism, drug trafficking and the defense of democracy.

Regarding rural and urban police departments, PRC proposes to be highly qualifies and modernly equipped so it can efficientily performed their duties, where corruption would be banned and severily punished. Among their basic functions shoul be to serve and protect citizens, private properties, etc..Regarding foreign policies PRC considers that a society based on an open market economy should have the doors open to the world, and as principles in its relationships, respect, solidarity, and contgribution to the international organizations to solve the problems all around the globe.Due to our geografical position to the United States, the relationship should be a special one, even more if we take into account the amount of cubans that have migrated to USA along these years and some of them have reached high positions within the American government, the Culture, Education Sports and other branches of power in the country. With absolute respect, with this nation we will have bilateral agreements and international interests of great relevance for both countries. Inmigration must have its regulations, handled intelligently could contribute to increase the development in the country. We consider that cuban born persons must not lose their citizenshipfor no reason whatsoever.PRC as a political organization aspires their candidates to occupy positions as public servants of a democratic society, based on a state of law, a civil society consious of its power, demanding high efficiency and honesty from their elected personals. We consider unacceptable the term corruption in the future of a democratic power, since the consequences to the society will be very traumatic. Our people has gone through too much deception and corruption as it is from the Castro regime and has deposited its confidence in their dreams of progress of a democratic future. Our own people will not allow these terems to happen and the punishment to it will be extremely severe.
